  1. Default Prune Days

  3. When you run the Power-QWK 'Prune' facility, Power-QWK scans
  4. the current message base looking for messages which have been
  5. read and which are older than a specified number of days.
  6.  
  7. 'Default Prune Days' specifies how many days' worth of messages
  8. are to be RETAINED by default when Pruning.
  9.  
  10. To set different numbers of days for individual conferences,
  11. press D at the conference selection screen in the Power-QWK
  12. Messages topic.

  14. 'Default Prune Days' specifies the number of days to be used
  15. with conferences which you have NOT specified individually.

  17. Note that, if you keep a Prune Archive, it has a special 'Default
  18. Prune Days' of 100.
  19.  
  20. If you have a Personal Mail conference, it has a special 'Default
  21. Prune Days' of 999. This value (as with any conference) causes it
  22. never to be pruned.
